How Modern Romance Movies are Ruining Our Views on Relationships*

What movie have you seen that goes thus:
1) Guy meets girl.
2) Guy and girl loath each other.
3) Guy and girl are forced to spend time together.
4) Guy and girl develop feelings for each other but do not admit it.
5) Girl rejects guys advances.
6) Girl rejects advances again.
7) Guy kisses girl anyway.
8) They like it.
9) They have sex/get married.
So many films do it (see brief list below). What is my problem with it?
Well, for one, it supports the theory that Hollywood is bone-dry of ideas and has lost its creativity.
Two, it encourages the idea of an unhealthy relationship and perpetuates two myths towards the sexes:
Women: You must always say "no" even if you want to say "yes."
Men: When she says "no," she always means "yes."
It sounds like instructions for date rape, or at least harassment charges.
That does not mean you cannot watch them. Some of them are actually decent! In fact, I made it all the way through The Proposal without rolling my eyes once. But maybe I'm getting jaded. Check a few out, and stay out of jail.
Formulaic Romantic Comedies:
10 Things I Hate About You
50 First Dates
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
The Proposal
The Ugly Truth
Wedding Crashers
What Happens in Vegas
What Women Want
You've Got Mail
And this one in NOT a Romantic Comedy and it is nearly a crime not to love this movie but:
Wall-e
